Where
should I ski
this weekend?

Tell it how you like to ski and where you'll go. Powder Pilot reads the forecast, weighs the snow against what you actually want, and calls the trip — the way a skier decides, not a search box.

The thinking

A prototype is only interesting if it's arguing for something. Each of these is a bet about what a skier actually needs, framed the way I'd bring it to a roadmap.

01

Show the confidence, not just the number

Every snow report is a claim. A skier deciding at 5am needs to know how much to trust it, so the report carries a confidence meter, not just inches.

User valueTrust the go / no-go call
BusinessTrust drives return visits & booking intent
EffortLow — surface data you already model
02

Plan around the powder, for this skier

"Best snow near me, for how I ski" beats a ranked list of every resort. Personalized matching turns data into a decision.

User valueA decision, not a database
BusinessPersonalization lifts engagement & affiliate CTR
EffortMedium — scoring over existing data
03

Powder alerts as the retention loop

"Tell me when my resorts are about to get hit" is the notification a skier will never mute — the hook that brings them back every storm cycle.
